Excavation FAQs
What excavation services do you offer for homeowners?
Grading and leveling, drainage solutions, trenching, land clearing, stump removal, patio and shed pad prep, and small demolition. If you have a dirt-moving project, we can likely handle it.
Can you fix standing water or drainage problems in my yard?
Yes — poor drainage is one of the most common issues we solve. We regrade low spots and shape the yard so stormwater flows away from your foundation.
Do I need to call utility companies before you dig?
We handle it. Utility mark-outs are coordinated before any digging begins — it’s required by law and we never skip it.
Will heavy equipment damage my lawn or driveway?
We use compact equipment sized for residential properties and lay protection where needed. Any disturbed areas are raked and finish-graded before we leave.
How much does residential excavation cost?
It depends on scope, access, and soil conditions, so we provide a free on-site written estimate. Estimates are valid for 30 days with no obligation.
